Work with Juvenile Court to collaborate volunteer opportunities for youth in the area. The youth can help be walkers, lead horses and help the physically challenged.
Partnership with law enforcement for ongoing team building and support for trauma related events
Networking with the local churches will provide greater volunteer base and establish a greater understanding of helping each other
Work with the schools to identify and offer preventive and educational events for students and staff. This opportunity can also take the form of leadership training for youth and adult members
Work with Meskwaki Nation to help youth learn self-awareness and build confidence. Provide TruCouncil and offer leadership programming using EAL; assist with school children through EAL activities; work with Meskwaki Family Services
Collaborate with Iowa Veterans Home to establish a program that would benefit the veterans in doing some volunteer work at the ranch, provide a place to align with the horses to help alleviate fears and increase self-confidence.
Collaborate with mental health providers in the community and offer Equine Assisted Learning and Psychotherapy for all referrals to help with mental and emotional well-being
Use of camps to help youth and adults experience the joy of learning to decrease fears of self-doubt and increase hope and healing in all things.
Youth groups participate in activities that help them learn the art of self care, improve comprehension on what it means to be united, and increase self-confidence
Collaborate with organizations to work on staff retreats and use communication and team building activities.
Clients will be provided with individual or group learning and practice the art of riding a horse through various formats, as desired (Western, English, Poles Trails, Halter, Jumping, Barrels)
Rapha Reins welcomes all those who are interested in giving volunteer hours to help with riding lessons, camps and special activities that occur at the ranch.
